Somewhere along the way, many of us learned that rest must be earned, and that stopping means falling behind. So we push through tiredness like it is a badge, and we call the exhaustion dedication.
But watch the people in this community who have grown steadily for years. They rest on purpose. They take the Sunday fully off. They sleep like it is part of the plan, because it is. Rest is not the opposite of work, it is what makes tomorrow's work possible.
Being lazy is avoiding what matters. Resting is protecting your ability to keep doing what matters. The two feel similar for exactly one afternoon, and then they lead to completely different lives.
So schedule the pause the way you schedule the hustle. Guard it. The goal was never to burn bright for one season. It was to shine for a long time, and lights that never turn off burn out.
