Why your first ninety days matter more than your first year
By Reyna Bautista
Ask anyone who has been in this community for a while and they will tell you the same thing: the members who are still here after a year all did something similar in their first ninety days. Not something dramatic. Something small, repeated.
The first ninety days are not about results. They are about rhythm. Showing up to the Monday huddle even when you are tired. Finishing one lesson in the Academy before bed instead of scrolling. Sending one message to one person you care about. None of these feel like progress on the day you do them, which is exactly why most people skip them.
Here is the quiet truth: motivation is loudest at the start and weakest by week three. If you build your routine while motivation is high, the routine carries you when motivation dips. If you wait for the perfect week to start, you will still be waiting in month six.
So keep it small. One huddle, one lesson, one conversation, every week, for ninety days. Do not measure yourself against anyone else in the room. The people who last are not the fastest starters. They are the ones who never needed a restart.
